I love crossfit because it’s a workout with a purpose. I get to challenge myself to do things that maybe I haven’t done in a long time. Whether it’s a cardio-based session, or a weight training one, there’s always something new to try. Theres a big difference between crossfit and other forms of sports. You cant just go training like a crazy person every day. Crossfit is a fitness system, and to go training like a crazy person is like going to a gym and just doing exercises that happen to make you look like you are a crazy person.

The system is intended to be as flexible as possible so that the body can be built for optimal performance. However, a lot of the exercises are very basic and could be performed with only a couple of sets of weights. Theres also a lot of “stretching” that seems to be part of the program, which I guess is good because its probably a good idea to get a little flexible.
The rules are pretty laid out so much that you can get away with it easily. We can do this with the help of a simple little “cheat” rule that says, “If your hands are strong, hold your right hand”. If you don’t have a strength routine, you can do this by doing something like holding your right hand on a barbell. You can start it to the left of the barbell and lower your foot.
It doesn’t take too much to get the hang of this. If you do this for a set number of sets, your routine can be shortened to fit in with the schedule. I can’t remember the exact number of sets you should do, but I think its about three.
This is a great way to get feedback for each set. It’s the most simple way to get feedback for each set, so if you have a set of people who want to give you feedback, you can just have a couple of minutes to create a second set.
