I’m a huge fan of crossfit. I’ve done it many times, but this was the first time I tried something completely new. The first workout was hard, but the endorphins from the first workout made me feel like I had accomplished something. I didn’t even have to work out. I was just so excited for the next workout.
I remember thinking, that might be one of the best workouts Ive ever done. I even wanted to go back for that one more time. But I also remember feeling a little bad for myself for doing it, because I knew I couldnt keep up with the workouts. I knew that I would blow out. But I thought I would be able to go in and do the workouts and get better, but no such luck. I was so frustrated that I just didnt wanna continue.
I was just so impressed with the whole process. I even thought to myself, that would be just the start of the good part.
I was wondering if maybe some of the workouts were only for the people who wanted a body that looked like a bodybuilder and was ripped. I mean, that’s what the workouts were about for me anyway. But it’s more than just a workout. It’s a way of life. It’s something I wanted to do for so long, but the weight training had to be the first step.
Why not? Because the body is a machine, and people who do not follow that are not good at it. I have to tell you, if you try to train my body, it will be hard. It will take a while for it to be able to do what I want.
I know I’ve been guilty of trying to overdo it. I mean, even if I wanted to lose weight, I know I won’t have the stamina to do all of the workouts required to get to a certain weight. So why try? I’ve always wanted to get into shape, and now I’ve finally found something that satisfies that desire.
That said, I like the idea of this body part. I can see the appeal of a machine body. It also solves the problem I have with crossfit. If my favorite exercises are squats, leg presses, and chin-ups, then the only thing I have to do to get to a certain weight is do all of them. So Ive found a way to fix that, and I know Ive found something that will make my body happy, as well as my hips happy.
