Im going to have to do a double take when I say that I love it when I see chickpea flour in sambas. I think it is the perfect mix of healthy and delicious. I also love the fact that there is no meat in my sambas.
In the world of vegan food, all you have to worry about is getting the right amount of protein in your meals. With that said, the fact that the sambas I have eaten were made with chickpea flour (from a chickpea flour called “Indian chickpea flour”) is a good thing! If you are a veggie, chickpea flour can give you the right amount of protein that you need.

The thing that makes a recipe vegan is that, when we get a new recipe, we can change the ingredients and maybe even the cooking time. This makes it easier to make recipes for everyone. In the case of the vegan sambas example, we could just change the sambal that we add to the sauce. This would make it vegan sambas.
