I recently found a great way to use my time. I decided to make a gift to someone in need. There are many options to create a gift. You can use the gift as a gift to a friend, to a coworker, to a family member, to a co-worker, to a client, to a service provider — anything.
The way this idea came to me was through an exchange from a co-worker in need. I thought, “Ok, so she’s lost her job, and she’s out of cash, so what do I do?” I said, “Buy her a gift.” She said, “That’s a lot of money to spend, but I have a friend in need.” So I bought her a gift.
As you might guess, buying a gift to someone in need is a great way to help them, and not everyone will appreciate your generosity. I know this because I received my first gift from a coworker who had lost her job, and I knew I had to help her. It was a $50 gift card, so it took me about 2 minutes to buy myself a gift. It was actually a very nice gift, an assortment of things that she could use to support herself.
So, how does the gift thing work? The 50 gift card you bought me is worth 50 dollars, so that’s $50. The other thing was that I received a pair of shoes. That’s a $100 gift card. So, $100 dollars worth of gift card.
I found this to be very interesting. I was very surprised that my gift was worth over a hundred dollars, and when I saw the shoes I was even more astonished. It’s always been a struggle to give people gifts that are not just expensive, but also useful because I am always looking for ways to spend money. That’s the case with the shoes, where they were clearly not just a gift, but an investment in my potential future employment.
In my opinion, the shoe itself is a perfect example of a product that is so ridiculously cheap that it is difficult to get a full story out of it. The “50$” price tag on this shoe is just wrong on so many levels. I mean, you are lucky to get a pair of shoes for that price nowadays.
This is my issue with the $50 price tag on a pair of shoes. I have bought shoes for that price before, and if I have to see another $50 before I can get one of my own, I will definitely not invest in a pair of shoes. Why? Because I don’t want to spend that money on a pair of shoes that isn’t even worth the price tag.
